From the first sketch to the part details.

3D Part & Assembly Models

Develop a visual model of components and their arrangement. Review proportions, connections and the overall layout with the shop.

Fabrication Drawings

Communicate dimensions, material requirements and assembly details in drawings matched to the agreed project scope.

Part & Cutting Details

Prepare profiles and part information for review ahead of cutting, forming or machining. Required file formats and production checks are agreed before work begins.

How We Work

Start with what you have.

Bring a sketch, existing drawing, CAD model, measurements or photos. Tell us what the part needs to do and what it connects to. We'll identify the information needed to develop the model and quote the drafting scope.

  1. Define the scope. Agree on the parts, assemblies, deliverables and source dimensions.
  2. Develop the model. Build a shared view of the design and review the details that need decisions.
  3. Revise and document. Incorporate agreed changes and prepare the requested drawings or exports.
  4. Plan fabrication. If TCB is building the work, review cutting, forming, welding and finishing requirements with the shop.

Drafting can be quoted on its own or alongside fabrication. Engineering calculations, stamped drawings and formal approvals are separate scope items and must be identified at the start.
